Dough with oil
- 17. Apr 2015
This is a quickly prepared recipe for a dough with oil which includes only 4 ingredients you have always at home.
Ms Aitch and Mr El bake two sorts of tarte for their families and friends, one with asparagus and the other with rhubarb. It's easy to prepare so when your guests arrive you have time to sit down together and drink a good glass of white wine while the tarte bakes in the oven.
You can put every filling into, you have to try out! Also you can make a galette with this dough.
Ingredients
For the salty dough:
250g spelt flour
120ml rapeseed oil
1 tsp salt
100ml cold water
For the sweet dough:
250g spelt flour
120ml rapeseed oil
2 tsp sugar
100ml cold water
You can use whole spelt flour for a rustic variation.
You need a tarte form of ⌀ 28cm.
Instructions
Mix flour, oil and salt or sugar with the dough hooks and add the cold water little by little. Stir until smooth.
Knead the dough with your hands on a floured surface and roll out. Put the dough into the tarte form and and prick the dough with a fork before you cover it.
According to the topping you have to bake the tarte on 180-190°C (top-/bottom heat) for 30-60 minutes.
